Alice in Chains Facelift Tour T-Shirt Vintage 90s

Vintage 90s Alice in Chains Facelift Tour T-Shirt. Single stitch shirt is in distressed condition. Shirt has faded. Cracking in graphics, mostly on front. Print wearing off, mostly on large red “facelift tour” lettering on back. Couple bleach spots. Fraying on sleeve hems and bottom hem. Lots of holes, 20 or so on front of shirt, 6 or 8 on back, a couple on sleeves. Holes/wear in collar on back of shirt, tag showing through (see photo). There are three holes at collar that are so close together they will eventually become one big hole (see photo). May need to wash by hand (instead of machine) to help preserve shirt and help keep holes from getting larger.

Shirt dated 1990 has tour dates on back from the May through July 1991 Clash of the Titans leg of the tour. Alice in Chains opened for Anthrax, Megadeath and Slayer. Original owner purchased it at the July 10,1991 Greenville, SC tour date.

Facelift, released in August 1990, is the debut studio album by Alice in Chains. The tracks “We Die Young”, Man in the Box”, “Sea of Sorrow” and “Bleed the Freak” were released as singles. The album was certified gold on September 11, 1991. “Man In The Box” nominated for a Grammy award in 1992. The album has gone on to be certified double-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
