In 1993 Paul McCartney and his band went on ” The New World Tour ” to promote McCartney’s ninth studio album “Off the Ground”. The tour started in February and ended in December, spanning almost the entire globe. The Biker Like an Icon on the back of this shirt is a song from the “Off the Ground” album. A quote from Paul from the New World Tour book: “Linda was talking about cameras, and she said, I like a Leica, which became I like a Nikon. I started messing with that and it became a biker who had a girl who loved him like an icon – Biker Like An Icon. I like confusing titles.
